Two Huntsville Hospital Foundation leaders receive statewide honors
Celebrating two inspiring HHF women this International Women’s Day
This Women’s History Month, we are excited to share two statewide honors that two of our Foundation leaders have just received.
Huntsville Hospital Foundation President Sarah Savage-Jones has been named a 2022 Momentum Woman of Impact Award Winner! She is one of only four leaders from across our state to receive the honor.
Momentum’s Woman of Impact Award recognizes Alabama women leaders who do extraordinary work to positively impact lives of others in the community, business, culture or politics. These award honorees are truly distinguished women leaders who have a lifetime of accomplishments in the service of others.
Savage-Jones currently serves one of the largest publicly-held hospital systems in the U.S. Prior to leading HHF, she worked for SouthTrust Bank in Birmingham and Huntsville, Crestwood Medical Center, and Leadership Huntsville/Madison County – serving as its president/CEO for 19 years. She is on the Rotary Club of Huntsville board, and is a Committee of 100 member and Junior League Sustainer. She has served on 20 boards and civic committees, including as board officer or chair for: the national Association of Leadership Programs (ALP); the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville; and Public Relations Council of Alabama (PRCA).
We cannot think of a more deserving honoree than HHF's fearless servant-leader. Congratulations, Sarah. We are so proud of – and inspired by – you!
HHF Board of Trustee Anne Marie Reidy, MD, was just recognized as one of This is Alabama’s 2022 Women Who Shape the State! Dr. Reidy is the owner and founder of Women4Women OBGYN, LLC, and an asset to our board and Foundation. She and the 25 other nominees were celebrated at the awards luncheon on March 3, 2022, at The Club in Birmingham.
Congratulations on this high honor, Dr. Reidy!
