The Lifesaver Club is Huntsville Hospital’s voluntary employee giving club – and Huntsville Hospital Foundation’s largest group of donors! We are so grateful for these employees who choose to further impact the health of our community through charitable contributions.
More than 4,900 active members raised more than $1 million in fiscal year 2020. Funds raised are used for equipment purchases, the employee emergency fund, scholarships and special projects which often exceed the hospital’s budgeted resources.
The Lifesaver Club has proudly supported the Huntsville Hospital family throughout the Coronavirus health care crisis. Huntsville Hospital Foundation and the Lifesaver Club have provided:
- $80,000+ in COVID assistance to more than 90 employees
- 10,600+ meals delivered to units and departments
- 6,670+ homemade masks for front-line workers
- More than $350,000 in critical equipment provided for COVID units
