Samantha Magnuson serves as the Communications Director for Huntsville Hospital Foundation, leading strategic communications, storytelling, and messaging efforts that support the Foundation's mission and community impact.
Before joining the Foundation, Samantha spent nine years in the Mayor's Office for the City of Madison as Senior Communications and External Affairs Officer, where she helped strengthen the city's brand and connect residents with programs, services, and initiatives through innovative communications strategies. Prior to her public service career, she worked at WHNT News 19 as a producer and later in Creative Services, building a foundation in broadcast journalism and visual media.
A passionate storyteller, Samantha specializes in videography, graphic design, and creative content development, using visual communication to inform, inspire, and engage audiences. She believes the most effective stories build meaningful connections between organizations and the communities they serve.
Samantha earned her bachelor's degree in Telecommunications and Film from the The University of Alabama, with minors in Political Science and Creative Writing.
Outside of work, Samantha enjoys spending time with her two daughters, her husband, who works as a clinical social worker, and their beloved pets. As a family, they are passionate advocates for animal rescue and supporting causes that strengthen the community.
