After two decades of serving Huntsville Hospital Foundation as both a dedicated volunteer and team member, Amy George has officially stepped into the role of President, leading the Foundation into its next chapter of philanthropic impact across North Alabama.
George succeeds Sarah Savage-Jones, who retired after seven years of visionary leadership that strengthened the Foundation's mission and expanded its impact throughout Huntsville Hospital Health System.
For George, the new role represents an opportunity to continue investing in the community she has served for years.
"Huntsville Hospital Foundation exists because our community believes everyone deserves exceptional healthcare close to home," George said. "Our team will continue building upon the incredible work already underway by strengthening relationships with donors, partners and our community. Sarah has shaped this Foundation with vision, compassion and unwavering dedication. I am honored to carry her legacy forward while leading the Foundation into its next chapter."
George brings extensive experience in communications, community engagement, fundraising and strategic leadership. Most recently, she served as the Foundation's Director of Development, helping cultivate philanthropic partnerships that advance patient care, support caregivers and fund innovative healthcare initiatives throughout Huntsville Hospital Health System.

For more than 40 years, Huntsville Hospital Foundation has connected generous donors with opportunities to improve healthcare across North Alabama.
