Setting the Stage: Harper and Troy Named Chairs of 2026 Huntsville Classic
Huntsville Hospital Foundation taps two community leaders to drive support for one of North Alabama’s most impactful fundraising events
Huntsville Hospital Foundation is proud to announce Ginger Harper, senior vice president at First Horizon Bank, and Lynn Troy, president of Troy 7 Inc., as co-chairs for the 2026 Huntsville Classic.
The annual concert fundraiser is one of North Alabama’s most anticipated events — a night that blends entertainment and generosity to support a cause that touches every life in our region. Proceeds from Huntsville Classic benefit Huntsville Hospital Foundation, helping strengthen our public hospitals and meet the needs of local patients and caregivers.
“Serving as co-chair is an opportunity to give back to a health care system that touches every life in our community. Huntsville Hospital is there for all of us," said Harper. “This event is about more than an incredible concert. It’s about making sure everyone in our region has access to excellent care, close to home.”
While the 2026 artist and event date will be announced in the coming months, early sponsorship conversations are already underway — and the best seats go fast. As co-chairs, Harper and Troy will lead the charge to engage the community and secure vital philanthropic support for this high-impact event.
"Strong hospitals are essential to strong communities,” Troy said. “I’m proud to help engage fellow leaders in supporting the health care system that cares for our workforce, our families and our future."
Since its inception, Huntsville Classic has raised millions to advance health care at Huntsville Hospital — funding lifesaving technology, services and programs that benefit patients across North Alabama. As one of the community’s most iconic philanthropic roles, the Classic chair position is a long-standing tradition, with past chairs honored in the event’s signature green sport coat. Harper and Troy will carry that legacy forward in 2026.
“We are incredibly excited to have Ginger and Lynn leading the 2026 Huntsville Classic,” said Sarah Savage-Jones, president of Huntsville Hospital Foundation. “They bring deep community roots, strong leadership and a clear commitment to advancing health care in our region. With their vision, this year’s Classic is poised to make a record-breaking impact — fueling our mission to support caregivers, patients and the hospitals our communities depend on.”
