Proceeds will help bring digital tomosynthesis to Huntsville Hospital’s Breast Center. This technology creates a 3-dimensional picture of the breast using X-rays. Early results with digital tomosynthesis have proven this new breast imaging technique will make breast cancer easier to detect in dense breast tissue.
