“Gratitude is a quality similar to electricity: it must be produced and discharged and used up in order to exist at all.” William Faulkner
We’ve been busy producing and discharging gratitude around here the last few weeks!
If you got a phone call recently thanking you for your support of our hospitals, then you were just one of more than 2,000 of our donors who did during our first-ever Thank-a-Thon. And we’re still calling!
Members of our Foundation Board, Women’s Advisory Council, Development Council, Ignite, Madison Hospital Women’s Council, and Emeritus Trustees have been calling donors over the last few weeks simply to thank them for their gifts. We want to make sure everyone knows their gifts make a difference in the lives of patients at Huntsville and Madison Hospitals.
These phone calls have touched the hearts of donors and callers alike, and reminded everyone of the blessing it is to have good health and to be able to give to others. Over and over, donors shared during the phone conversations that they give to support our hospitals because they are grateful for the care they or a loved one received, or because they wanted to ensure that other patients have the same great experiences in the future.
We are thankful for the gratitude of our donors that turns into giving back to our hospitals and patients. May this cycle of gratitude never cease and continue to foster investment in the health of our community for many years to come!
Are you grateful for the care you or a loved one have received at Huntsville or Madison Hospitals, or simply for the outstanding care that is available in our community?
